The Institute of Recruiters (IOR) is rolling out new recruitment qualifications from September, director general Azmat Mohammed tells Recruiter.

The new qualifications will be available exclusively through the IOR’s partnership with awarding bodies the Open College Network London Region, and Skillsfirst, both of which are regulated by regulatory the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), a non-ministerial government department.

Mohammed tells Recruiter: “We won’t issue any qualification that is not [Ofqual-approved]”.

Additionally, the recruitment industry professional body is launching its own IOR Trainer Accreditation specifically for recruitment industry trainers and coaches. The process is conducted by a specific IOR committee and managed by external assessor, career coach and trainer Karin Dean.

Already completing the accreditation process and becoming IOR Accredited Trainers are social media marketer Jorgen Sundberg, and Robin Hills and Doug Haynes, directors of Ei4Change, which supports business through emotional intelligence training and development.
