Four experienced Scottish headhunters, all formerly of executive recruiter Munro Consulting, are coming together to form executive search firm Aspen.

The company will be headquartered in Glasgow and led by Ken Dalgleish, a founding director of Munro Consulting, as well as Munro Solutions, both part of the broader Munro group.

Munro Consulting had been operating as an independent company within the Munro group for the last 18 months.

Dalgleish says: “We all agreed it made sense to launch a distinct new company and identity. We have made sure that clients and candidates will experience nothing more than a name change.”

The company will specialise in headhunting for senior positions across the private, public and third sectors with the focus on director-level appointments and chair and non-executive director opportunities.

Its three directors are Nigel Fortnum, Catriona Mackie and Donogh O’Brien, who had respectively joined Munro in 2012, 2009 and 2006. Fortnum previously ran his own search consultancy Fortnum Select.
