Wed, 29 May 2013Executive search and interims firm BIE Group has completed a management buy-out from its parent company The Cornhill Partnership.

Three managers, led by chief executive officer Rob Walker, have become equal equity partners in the business, which will continue to see investment from Barclays Corporate Finance’s private equity arm Barclays Ventures.

His two partners are Ben Hawkins and Gordon Whyte.

Walker says the deal “would not have been possible” without the financial expertise of former colleague Roland Perry, finance director of exec recruiter Walker Hamill.

This news comes just over a year since interim and executive search firm Archer Mathieson was merged in BIE's Interim Executive business.
