And 800 new job opportunities are due to be created as Chinese CSR Group sets up a manufacturing and maintenance stock for railway engineering and technology in Batu Gajah, 200km North of Kuala Lumpur.
At a ceremony unveiling the plant’s opening, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said: “I am confident you can turn this area into a locomotive industry hub in this region”.
