Industrial recruiter gap personnel has acquired South-West driving agency Bristol Drivers Solutions (BDS).

And gap’s finance director Andy Gunson says the firm has “a strong pipeline of other potential targets, and hopes to complete at least one other acquisition during 2013”.

BDS, which recorded revenues of £1.5m last year, becomes part of gap’s specialist driving division Driving Force, under the name BDS Driving Force. The acquiring company says it is looking to exceed £100m turnover by 2015, up from 2012’s £72m.

BDS directors Justine Buxton and Mandy Parker will remain on board for the foreseeable future.

Gap also recently opened an Oldham office, its eighth in the North-West.

North Wales-based Gamlins Solicitors advised gap on the deal, while financial due diligence was conducted internally.
