Engineering consultancy Altran is to broadcast a live TV programme on the internet at 1pm (CET) on 28 March as it pushes to hire over 4,000 engineers worldwide this year.

The hour-long show, which will also broadcast via Facebook, will be titled ‘Career’ and allows participants to question a panel of Altran staff on life at the company and opportunities there.

While Altran was founded in France and has its headquarters in Paris, the show is to be broadcast in English. Of the engineers the company is looking to recruit, nearly 2,200 will work in France itself.

Altran group employer brand director Julien Esposito says the format choice offers  the advantages of transparency and live communication.

He added that the company saw three key drivers for young engineers’ career choices: international opportunities, varied projects and ambitious missions.

The show will include news from across Altran’s operations worldwide and an interview with chief executive officer Philippe Salle.
