Either side of the Atlantic, the primary challenge for recruitment teams is the same – how to be true consultants. But this also presents an opportunity, says recruiting guru John Vlastelica.

Vlastelica, managing director of corporate recruitment strategist consultancy Recruiting Toolbox and former head of resourcing at Amazon and Expedia, was keynote speaker at Recruiter’s Smart Resourcing 2013 conference last month, sponsored by Eploy.

He describes that in spite of the economy, recruiters are “busy, very busy”, but must look to step up and provide strategic leadership, in the video below:
