Property and surveying recruitment specialist The Oyster Partnership has appointed recruitment veteran Russell Clements as chair.

The SThree founder stepped down as chief executive officer at the recruiter in the New Year, recently taking up a role as non-executive chairman of visual analytics start-up cube19.

Clements spoke at last month’s event celebrating the success of the UK’s fastest-growing recruitment firms, as listed in the Recruiter FAST 50, produced in association with mergers & acquisitions advisers Boxington Corporate Finance.

Clements says: “Personally, my career highlights have been when my business was roughly the size Oyster is today and then again when we became really big. It’s a privilege to be part of the business at this exciting time in its journey.”
