Mon, 18 Feb 2013FMCG firm Nestlé is to hire for 400 new UK jobs in 2013, while Facebook is looking to add a further 100 workers at its international base in Dublin.

Facebook

The firm is to bring in over 100 new people at the Dublin office that currently employs around 400 people in a broad range of roles including user operations, advertising, sales, policy and safety.

Jobs are to be advertised via the company’s own online noticeboard facebook.com/jobs.

Says Gareth Lambe, acting head of office for Facebook Ireland: “Ireland is a great hub of international tech talent, which is one reason why Facebook has its international HQ in Dublin. Today’s announcement means we will be expanding our workforce across multiple disciplines such as user operations, safety and advertising.”

Nestlé

The company will create 400 UK jobs this year, with TV channel ITV reporting that 300 of these are to come at its South Derbyshire factory, of which 100 will be new apprentice and graduate roles.

Nestlé says that it is also recruiting across all of its UK sites for a wide range of roles including apprenticeships, graduate positions and engineers.
