Tim Cook, global head of digital and business innovation at Hays, is leaving the specialist recruitment firm after 26 years with the company to join private equity business Hamilton Bradshaw.

Cook (pictured below) tells Recruiter that his departure from Hays, where he was managing director of the UK & Ireland from 2008 to 2010, is “entirely amicable” and “we are all still friends”.
At Hamilton Bradshaw he will work closely with chief executive officer James Caan and MD Tristan Ramus on “exciting opportunities to grow businesses, acquire businesses and work on some JVs [joint ventures]”. Hamilton Bradshaw specialises in human capital with divisions in recruitment, managed services and recruitment process outsourcing.

While at Hays, Cook was MD of the company’s construction & property business for 21 years. In his most recent role as head of digital and innovation, he also ran the 3Story Software business, which launched last year.
