Recruitment group Phaidon International has launched EPM Scientific, its sixth specialist recruitment brand, which will operate in the life sciences industry.

Phaidon, which also owns financial recruiter Selby Jennings and oil & gas specialist Laking Aran Moorhouse, has taken on Emma Morris, formerly of professional recruiter Hydrogen Group, as director of the new operation.

EPM will work with organisations in industries including pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology, with particular focus in biometrics and clinical operations.

According to a Phaidon statement, the firm has plans to launch a further four niche brands, and open six further international offices in the next 18 months.
