Manpower names Buchband senior VP and chief legal officer

Global recruitment firm ManpowerGroup has appointed Richard Buchband as senior vice president and chief legal officer.

Global recruitment firm ManpowerGroup has appointed Richard Buchband as senior vice president and chief legal officer.

Based in the US, Buchband will serve as the company’s general counsel, in charge of overall legal strategy and function, as well as managing corporate governance and securities. 

A Princeton University graduate, he previously served as partner and associate general counsel for management consulting, technology and outsourcing firm Accenture, and was also former senior corporate counsel and secretary for global travel company Orbitz.

Buchband succeeds Ken Hunt, who is retiring after serving as the group’s counsel for 30 years.
