Australian recruitment and payroll provider Talent2 has attempted to downplay concerns surrounding its troubled $NZ100m (£51m) payroll implementation at New Zealand schools as “inevitable teething issues” with the system, reports the Australian Financial Review

Problems began appearing in September less than two weeks after the payroll system was implemented, with schools and teachers reporting, among other things, security flaws, schools were being debited for teachers not on their payroll and overpayments.

In a statement, the company says it is working with the New Zealand Ministry of Education and individual schools to rectify remaining problems, which were largely a result of human error and technical issues.
