Former Apprentice McQueen gives students lessons in recruitment
Recruitment agency Raw Talent Academy (RTA) has extended its links with Harrow College to offer students an internship in recruitment.
Founded by former Apprentice winner Lee McQueen, RTA has been working with the college since 2010 and has now established the Harrow College Employability Academy, where students will be put through their paces in a similar format to The Apprentice, with the winner given a six-month paid internship working with McQueen at RTA.
RTA has already established a recruitment agency within the college called HQ Recruit. The Employability Academy will see the best 16 candidates chosen on an audition day on the 28 November to go in to a 12-week course, at the end of which one student will earn a paid internship.
Lee Janaway of Harrow College says: “We are delighted to offer the Employability Academy to our students as part of our on-going commitment to giving our students the best possible chances of success when they move on from the college.”
