Digital, creative and advertising recruiter Cogs Agency has opened Hong Kong and Berlin offices.

The Hong Kong office opened on 1 November and is headed by Damien Bell in the role of associate director for Asia, who previously worked for the company in London. It will provide freelance and permanent recruitment services to Hong Kong, mainland China and Singapore.

The German office – based in capital city and prime e-commerce and new media centre Berlin – opened on 1 October. Led by senior consultant Matthieu Ritter, who has worked with the firm since the start of the year, business strategy will be overseen by Cogs founder and director Liam Morgan.

Co-founder and director Chris Frost says: “Over the past four years we’ve been doing more business across Asia and Europe, often relocating candidates from the UK and North America to take roles with our clients based there, so the opening of these two offices merely underpins this shift and the relationships we’ve already established.”
