John Faraguna, president North America, managing director Global Healthcare at Hays, told Recruiter that Hays’ new office in Houston was vital for the company to be considered “a senior player” in the sector. The new office is an integral part of Hays’ plans to build up its global network of offices and recruitment contacts, he added. It will also allow Hays to exploit its existing global contract with international oil giant BP, he said. Headed by Fernando Magalhães, who joins from Hays’ Brazil operation, Faraguna said the plan was to employ 10-15 consultants in Houston.
