IT and financial services recruiter Bright Purple Resourcing has appointed Georgette Stewart, previously managing director of temp agency Rise Group, to the newly-created role of delivery manager.

A qualified accountant, she joined Rise five years ago in the role of finance director.

Bright Purple chief executive Nick Price and the board are keen to grow permanent recruitment activity, which will be Stewart’s responsibility.

She says: “The great work that is being done for clients in managing their contract recruitment requirements gives us a solid platform to grow the permanent side of the business in the UK and across the globe.”
