HR recruiter Digby Morgan saw 2011 turnover drop by 16% to £11.4m compared to the previous year, while operating profit more than halved from £1.52m to £752k.

Accounts filed at Companies House show gross profit at £5.3m, down from £6.6m the previous year.

Most (98.4%) of the turnover came from UK operations, showing slight diversification from last year’s 99.3%, as the company earned £18.5k in the Middle East in 2011, having earned nothing there in 2010, while it nearly tripled turnover from both Rest of Europe and US operations, while the Far East business halved.

The company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Randstad UK on 2 February 2011.
