Professional recruiter Michael Page will welcome Kate Chapman to the business in the newly-created role of HR director in January 2013.

Chapman joins from BT, where she has held various senior HR roles globally, most recently HR director of BT Retail Customer Services, and led a team redeploying over 15,000 BT employees between 2009 and 2011.

Michael Page employs 5,300 people across 34 countries. Chief executive Steve Ingham told Recruiter that a major part of Chapman’s role will be around the redeployment and mentoring of those moving across geographies, in order to “make sure the best ideas are shared around the world”.

"Kate brings a depth of HR experience and passion to lead the HR team in further developing our people agenda that will help deliver our business strategy and organic growth plans"
