Worry no longer. The recession will officially be over on… 10 May 2010. Recruiter (and everyone) is extremely grateful to specialist recruitment business consultant Bill ‘Nostradamus’ Boorman (pictured) for divulging this muchspeculated news.

In an interview with XtremeRecruiting, Bill explained how we are in the third out of the four stages in a recession, where the temporary and interim market is rising, signalling the beginning of recovery. He advises recruiters to think about how they can maximise their current business and be ready for the upturn in the permanent recruitment market, for example by starting to build candidate networks again.
