Recruiters who make use of the international business network XING to search for talent have access to an additional 40 million profiles, thanks to the network's integration with the business information search engine ZoomInfo.com.

Bryan Burdick, chief operating officer of ZoomInfo.com, told Recruiter that many recruiters think of ZoomInfo's profiles as a virtual resume. "Since complete ZoomInfo profiles are now available via XING, recruiters who are XING members can get a good overview of potential candidates, including work history, education etc," he said.

"Additionally, ZoomInfo will provide the contact information to XING members so recruiters can reach out and connect to the people of interest to them."

The additional profiles are individuals from the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Burdick said that while it has not focused a lot of attention on the UK market as yet, the number of UK profiles and users on its customer base continues to grow.

"The bulk of our UK customers, however, still come from US-based recruiting agencies who have offices overseas," said Burdick.
