Work experience is the best indicator of talent, according to a survey from international recruiter Kelly Services.

Work experience is the best indicator of talent, according to a survey from international recruiter Kelly Services.

The survey of 2,200 people in the UK reveals 67% say that when looking for a job, the best indicator of a person’s talent is their work experience, followed by performance in the job interview (21%), job references (6%) and education (also 6%).

The survey also shows that when determining the most important factors in a person’s career – experience or formal education – 84% say experience, while 14% cite formal education and 2% are undecided.
