"Our research showed that employers love the idea," CV Show co-owner, Jonathan Hartley, told Recruiter. "In the media age, we feel the CV is antiquated. In 10 years' time we believe the video CV will be standard." Currently, the website is free and is in its testing stage.

"The research showed that employers believe shorter videos are more effective," said Hartley. "Some said a 30-second video was enough decide if they wanted to read a person's CV."
