I have to confess to having difficulties with some of my clients regarding 'ageism', but equally I find it dreadful that using a word such as 'enthusiastic' can in any way be considered ageist or anti-disabled candidates. Enthusiasm has nothing to do with age or ability. There are plenty of enthusiastic tennis players in wheelchairs and my own parents, both in their late 70s, are 'passionately enthusiastic' about many of their activities. In fact to say that the word 'enthusiastic' is ageist is in itself an ageist statement! Please don't let insane political correctness ruin what is a vital piece of legislation.
