Recruitment solutions company Voyager Software has posted increased revenues up 18.5% in the 12 months to June 2011 and a doubling of pre-tax profits, according to its preliminary results.

The company believes that its positive results are due to the improvement in the fortunes of recruiters.

Nick Ray, chief executive of Woodcote Software, Voyager’s parent company, says: “The total number of active licences of Voyager’s recruitment software products at the end of June 2011 is 10% higher than it was in June 2010.

“This reflects not only a strong performance in new business wins, but also a turnaround for many of our customers who have increased their headcount and therefore licenses over the past 12 months.”
