Vodafone is helping recruiters more easily tap into the mobile internet by allowing customers to replicate on their handsets what they do on their desktop or laptop PCs. Pages that pass through the Vodafone network can be compressed by up to 10 times and turned into mobile-friendly content. It claims that most customers will not need to upgrade their mobile phone to take advantage of the breakthrough.
