Around 368 new jobs are to be created in Glasgow’s city financial centre by Vertex, a provider of customer management outsourcing.

Around 368 new jobs are to be created in Glasgow’s city financial centre by Vertex, a provider of customer management outsourcing.

The new jobs will be based in Atlantic Quay and include 200 new jobs providing sales and service for Tesco Bank’s mortgage business.

Councillor Gordon Matheson, leader, Glasgow City Council, says: “The news is the latest in a series of new job announcements over the past two months from Barclays, Santander, esure, Odyssey Financial Technologies and Morgan Stanley that will see a total of over 1,200 new financial services jobs created in the city.”
