Eighteen per cent of US hiring managers plan to hire seasonal workers for the upcoming holidays, according to a survey by CareerBuilder.com.
Eighteen per cent of US hiring managers plan to hire seasonal workers for the upcoming holidays, according to a survey by CareerBuilder.com. This is roughly on a par with 2008 when the figure was 17%.
Forty-four per cent of hiring managers expect to pay $10 (£6.10) or more per hour and 12% expect to pay $16 per hour or more. The survey also found that 34% plan to pay between $8 and $10 an hour and 20% plan to pay between $6 and $8 an hour.
The survey questioned 2,900 hiring managers.
