Accenture has won a seven-year contract with Unilever to manage its recruitment and other human resources services in 100 countries.

The outsourcing project, which begins in July, will aim to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Unilever’s HR operations as part of the company’s One Unilever program.

The contract covers recruitment, payroll administration, performance management and other core HR administration.

Sandy Ogg, Unilever’s chief human resources officer, said: “We believe that it is best for our business if we concentrate on our core competencies and transfer what is our back office and make it into someone else’s front office. We can also leverage Accenture’s capabilities and expertise.”
