Technical recruiter and trainer firm Russell Taylor Associates has seen turnover  increase from £2.95m to £9m in 2010, the group has announced.

While net profit rose from £40,000 in 2009 to £245,000 in the year, head count at the firm’s three locations in Bromborough, Chester and Anglesey also increased from 17 to 36.

The firm adds that it anticipates 2011 year-end turnover forecast of £13.75m.

Managing director Ben Russell says: “We focused heavily on expanding our team, with quality individuals, so that we could develop our services for clients and candidates. This has been reflected in our significant increase in turnover.”

“To see a three-fold increase in turnover compared to the same period last year is very encouraging, particularly in the current market.

“We continue to have ambitious plans for 2011 and are looking to acquire up to three similar businesses from anywhere in the UK who are turning over around £3-4m.”
