One in 10 winners of tribunal awards never see a penny
One in 10 people who win tribunal claims against their employers never receive their payment awards, according to a new report.
The report, from Citizens Advice, found that around 1,500 people never receive the compensation they are entitled to.
David Harker, chief executive of Citizens Advice, told The Times newspaper: “The ability of rogue employers to ignore tribunal judgments with impunity seriously undermines the credibility of the employment tribunal system with both workers and employers.”
