Security tracking and risk management solutions Track24 has launched web-based Employee Location Management System (ELMS).

The service aims to help organisations meet their duty of care during incidents which may compromise staff safety.

ELMS requires each employee within an organisation to enter their personal information into the system and log their travel plans ahead of a business trip. Should they be caught in an area in which there is an incident, such as a natural disaster or a terrorist attack, the system enables them to provide rapid feedback on their location and status via their mobile device or laptop.

The process enables firms to quickly identify who is affected, who is in trouble and then prioritise resources appropriately.
