Totaljobs.com has become the first UK-based recruitment website to publish independently audited job application figures.

Totaljobs.com recorded 740,000 jobseeker applications in March 2006, according to figures from ABCe, the online media industry’s audit service. The recruitment website carries 100,000 on average every month.

Totaljobs now generates 143% more applications than it did a year ago. An application is generated every 3.5 seconds.
