Commercial/industrial, IT and professional services continue to be the busiest sectors in recruitment-to-recruitment, according to latest statistics from McCall.

The figures reveal commercial/industrial made up 29% of its business, ahead of IT on 24% and professional services on 21%.

Joint-managing director Julie O'Neill told Recruiter: "Technical recruitment is fast growing. Public sector is still waning generally, IT and professional services are both strong markets, as is the high street/generalist."

She added that technical, which includes driving and logistics, is the fastest growing sector of all.
