Tate secures training accreditation_2

REC training accreditation has been awarded to Tate

Recruitment agency Tate has gained accreditation to run in-house professional training programmes that will lead to national qualifications provided by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

Tate, which is part of the Carlisle Group, can now run core skills training programmes towards the REC’s Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
To attain the accreditation, Tate submitted details of their consultants’ training programme to the REC, which conducted an audit against the content and syllabus of the Certificate in Recruitment Practice.

Matt Bennett, Tate’s learning and development manager, says: “Having our programme of courses accredited and highly praised by the REC has meant that our consultants are trained to the highest standards possible.

“Our customers and candidates can be assured that they will receive the best service possible in our marketplace and an opportunity to gain an industry recognised standard. The accreditation has proved incredibly popular within our business and I know that our consultants are looking forward to taking the exam and receiving their Certificate in Recruitment Practice and membership of the REC.”

Julia Robertson, Tate’s managing director, adds: “Attracting, retaining and developing the best consultants in the industry is a key part of our strategy and enabling our people to achieve a professional qualification will doubtless enable us to achieve our goal.”

The REC’s Certificate in Recruitment Practice is the first stage in a four-step qualification framework available to recruiters. The Diploma – equivalent to Year One of a Degree in Recruitment Practice has started this autumn.
