Candidates to battle it out in online recruitment show

A Scottish entrepreneur is to team up with a recruitment consultant to produce an online television recruitment show to offer one lucky candidate a top job.

Sandra McClumpha, who brought Fake Bake artificial tanning creams to Britain, will work with Scottish recruitment consultant Greta Hill-Lyons to produce online show The Hirer. The programme is to be broadcast on www.thehirer.tv during September.

Candidates will submit video applications before the final eight will undergo a number of challenging tasks. They will be coached through the process with two going forward to a final to determine who will secure a the top job at Fake Bake.

McClumpha recently bought the Fake Bake brand patent for £10m from Americans Joe and Mary Cooper and will distribute in Fake Bake’s home US market.


Greta Hill-Lyons, the founder of Forth Valley Jobs, Employment Scotland.co.uk, ScotJobs.uk.com and Appointments magazine, said: “I see so much raw talent in Scotland and I want to give everyone the opportunity to prove themselves and go on to work alongside one of Scotland’s most successful entrepreneurs.”
