Senior management recruiter Proco Global has successfully completed a search on behalf of Carphone Warehouse/Best Buy Europe for a new UK managing director.

Matt Stringer joins from Marks & Spencer where he was previously director of international operations.

The newly created position sees Stringer take full responsibility for the UK operations of Carphone Warehouse and also contribute to its wider European strategy.
