Insurance recruitment specialist Stirling Andersen has opened an office in Melbourne and has appointed Sinead Ferry as manager of the state of Victoria.

Insurance recruitment specialist Stirling Andersen has opened an office in Melbourne and has appointed Sinead Ferry as manager of the state of Victoria.

Ferry was previously with Darwin Rhodes, heading up the analytics desk in London. Her specialities include statistical analysts, catastrophe modellers, business analysts, legal, compliance & risk management and strategic operational roles across Lloyds syndicates, brokers, composite insurers and re-insurers.

Stirling Andersen will be located in the same office as parent company Andersen Partnership in Melbourne.

Managing director Beth Osmont said she was confident of hiring a further five fee earners over the coming months for the Melbourne office and confirmed that the brand would also be launched in Perth and Brisbane early next.
