The deadline to enter the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2008, supported by Thomas International, has been extended to 3 December due to reader demand.

Some categories have been redefined this year to better reflect specific sectors. New categories have been created to highlight increasing emphasis on rising standards in candidate and client care, as well as on being an employer of choice within the recruitment industry itself.

Another change is in how rec-to-rec firms are nominated for the Award as the best in their field. Rec-to-rec firms must now be nominated by their clients or candidates to compete.
