Staffline sees revenues rise

A combination of acquisitions and an emphasis on its “onsite” model have helped industrial recruiter Staffline post rising revenues, according to its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2011.

The group’s results reveal:

·     Revenues up 45% to £120.9m (H1 2010: £83.4m)

·     Gross margins up to 11.8% (H1 2010: 11.2%), the effect of the move into welfare to work

·     Profit before tax up 38% to £2.9m (H1 2010: £2.1m)

Andy Hogarth, chief executive of Staffline, told Recruiter: “It’s just been good all round. We have seen some growth from existing customers as well as new ones, and the acquisitions have gone well. It’s about trying to continue doing the same.”
