Staffline Group continues to be on hunt for new acquisitions as the industrial and commercial recruiter expects full-year earnings will be in line with the raised market expectations, according to a trading update for its six months ended 30 June 2011.

The trading update reveals the group would comfortably meet market expectations.

Chairman and chief executive Andy Hogarth told Recruiter: “We are certainly still actively looking for acquisitions. If we do make any more acquisitions, that will add to the results. We don’t need to make any acquisitions to hit our targets but we would certainly very much like to.

“We are actively encouraging people to approach us either through advisers or direct. We have grown through acquisitions. Growth will be mainly domestic but we are looking overseas but the bulk of the growth will come from the UK.”
