Spring, the listed IT recruiter, has won a £100m managed recruitment contract with a major UK bank.

The three year contract will see Spring handle the unnamed bank's IT contractor requirements.

Spring will send in teams to the bank's offices to run the recruitment programme, which will be overseen by executives from both Spring and the bank.

The bank is one of the world's largest and serves clients across the UK through subsidiary companies providing personal, commercial and investment banking, as well as insurance and credit card services.

Spring chief executive Richard Barfield said: "We are delighted that this leading bank has selected Spring as its IT resource partner."
