In-house recruitment departments have been urged to know their company and their recruitment ‘sell’ before taking their brand to market.

At Recruiter’s inaugural Smart Resourcing 2010 event at London’s Millennium Mayfair Hotel, Charlotte Dean-Hughes, talent supply manager, UK, Ireland & Nordics at Procter & Gamble, told delegates that knowing your brand was just one element of building a successful employer brand.

Ensuring employers successfully carry their brand so that candidates have a hugely positive experience of a firm was just one of the many pressing issues discussed by the cream of the UK’s resourcing professionals from some of the UK’s top firms.

Recruiter will feature video coverage from the conference all this week. Look out for the new magazine, out on Wednesday, which will include in-depth analysis of all the action from the day.
