Recruiters who are members of the professional networking site XING can access their personal network on a Blackberry Smartphone.

Currently the XING jobs marketplace cannot be accessed via the Blackberry, but XING told Recruiter that it will continue to develop and expand the application in response to feedback.

Stephen Whitehurst, director of ZeteoPeople, a Brighton-based recruitment agency which has set up an online community for SAP professionals on XING, said that he welcomed being able to access his contacts on the move. “Not being tied to the office is a benefit for any recruiter,” he said, adding that he believes members of his SAP community will also make use of the mobile facility.
