Cambridgeshire-based Slender Contracting has become the first company to regain a Gangmasters Licence after reapplying and demonstrating that the issues that led to revocation had been resolved.

The company had its licence revoked by the Gangmasters Licence Authority when they withdrew their appeal against the GLA's decision to revoke their licence.

GLA chief executive Mike Wilson says: "It is important that labour providers realise that getting a licence is not the end of the story. To keep that licence they have to demonstrate continuing compliance."
