The recently launched www.skillstories.org website, designed to help employers work together to improve skills, could also aid recruitment, with organisations able to include details of their training and skills initiatives.
Iain Harper of Business in the Community, which developed the site with the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, told Recruiter that he could see it helping companies attract the right talent. "Companies with good training and skills programmes are more likely to be seen as employers of choice," he said.
