Worried employees work on despite illness
Insecure British employees are working through illness, a new survey has revealed.
The survey, from AXA PPP healthcare, found that 72% of employees went to work despite feeling ill enough to remain at home, with 29% not wanting to let colleagues down. Almost a quarter (24%) had too much work on to stay home and 15% thought poor sick records could lead to redundancy.
