A job board has launched a new recruitment website which enables employers to match their requirements with candidates in their local area.

ShiftShack.com creates the  best-suited match for workers with employers for permanent, temporary, shift, rotation, hourly paid or flexible work.

Candidates fill out an availability calendar each month which details when they can work, while employers can run a free search for potential staff in their area, based on the days they require staff with other options to specify criteria.
 
Roddy Angus, managing director of ShiftShack.com, says: “With the current economic climate, everyone is really feeling the pinch and for some people, earning a little extra cash could be just what’s needed to lighten the load and stay afloat.

“Many employees who have been made redundant or forced to reduce their hours can struggle to find work because employers will be more reluctant to take on full-time staff on a permanent basis.”
