An out-of-court settlement has been agreed after Servoca issued a writ in the High Court claiming damages from three former senior managers at Windsor Recruitment group of companies for breach of contract.
The writ claimed damages against Alexander O'Neill, a former managing director of the Windsor Recruitment group, Fiona Trenchard-Davies, the group's former marketing director, and Scott O'Neill, a former manager of Windsor Training.
The writ was for alleged breaches of their contracts of employment, alleged breaches of their duties of confidence, and/or alleged infringement of Windsor Training and Recruitment's (part of Servoca) database rights under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997. The writ also claimed that a nominee company, Payrolls (trading as WG-On-Line), based in Eastbourne, allegedly passed its business off as Windsor Training and Recruitment
In July 2007, Servoca, through its subsidiary Windsor Training and Recruitment, bought the Windsor Recruitment group's client and candidate database.
Althoug the two parties have now agreed an out-of-court settlement, the details of the settlement remain confidential.
Alexander O'Neill, one of the defendants, told Recruiter: "We can confirm that an out-of-court settlement was agreed by both parties with no admission of liability or guilty on either side."
