SecurityClearedJobs.com, a job board for security cleared personnel, has reported a successful launch, receiving more than 3m hits in June.

The company says that it has 200 clients advertising more than 1,800 positions across a wide range of industry sectors including aviation, construction, engineering, defence, finance, government, IT and security.

SecurityClearedJobs.com’s Tony Samuel says: “Our main focus is to provide a service that is simple and streamlined to bring the ideal candidate together with their ideal job as efficiently as possible.

“Due to the nature of projects undertaken across all industry sectors, many companies require staff to meet the criteria to be cleared to varying security levels. As well as security clearance, many employees need to pass tests including criminal records and finance checks in order to work with information that may be confidential for security or financial reasons as well as for work that involves dealing with vulnerable or young people.

“We believe that we are ideally placed to meet the demand to attract candidates who meet these levels of employment criteria.”
